First Day of School

One of my FAVORITE days of the year!!! I swear it's earlier every year though.

Aren't they so handsome!!!

Iowa State Fair

We wanted the full Midwest experience, so we went to the Iowa State Fair while in Des Moines for Will's cousin's wedding. We had the best corndogs EVER, got to see the butter cow and tons of livestock, and ride a few rides. The boys had so much they want to go back next year!

Cubs Win!!!

On the way to Iowa, we stopped in Chicago to see the Cubs play the Astros. It was amazing!! There's nothing like drinking beer & cheering the Cubbies on with all the other people who called in sick!

Colin earned $20 for eating a fork-full of jalapenos. After the game, we took a fireworks "cruise" on a speed boat from Navy Pier. We won't be taking that tour again at night!

4th of July Weekend

We had a busy 4th of July weekend. We went tubing at a friends house in Michigan and went to Indy with some friends.

Happy Birthday Reis!

Little Reisy turned 9 today! We were in Austin visiting and our fabulous friends Audra and Nevan made his day extra special with a party at their house.

Happy Birthday Colin!

Can you believe my baby turned 12 today!?!?

St. Joe Beach

Some friends took us on a quick day trip to a near by beach. The sand was warm & the water was clear. The water was still too cold to get in, but it was gorgeous!!

The Johnston Boys

I met my super cute nephews for dinner at my favorite restaurant!

Ooh...It's shaking!!!
Asa & Jacob
"This is for my favorite Auntie"
Jake's giving me a "legs and arms hug"!

Lacrosse

Colin has joined a traveling lacrosse team & he's loving it. Do you think his pads are big enough?

Disney Days!

The Kennedy family did Disney for Spring Break this year. We had tons of fun and were absolutely exhausted by the end of the week. Now it's time for another vacation!!

Because of a scheduling mistake, we were the first family at Animal Kingdom. On the up side, we received a private safari ride with our tour guide, Kyle.

Will teaching the boys how to play some old school video games.

Colin & Reis with their favorite character, Stitch!!
